biography
Martel is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Tulane University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. Martel then worked as an intensive care unit nurse at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Mount Sinai Hospital before completing her Master of Science in Nursing at Columbia University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Columbia University, which highlights her ongoing commitment to furthering her education and expertise.
Martel is passionate about both cosmetic and medical dermatology. She has a particular interest in diagnosing and treating skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis, as well as in performing skin cancer screenings. In her free time, Martel enjoys running in Central Park and practicing yoga.
